We build what doesn’t exist yet.

The tools your operation actually needs rarely come in a box. We design and engineer bespoke systems, from software and applied AI to sensors, hardware, and autonomous machines, built to work in your environment, not a demo environment, and handed to you in production. You own the IP, the code and the system.

Some of what we’ve made.

Bespoke systems engineered for real operations, several of which are candidates for products in their own right.

Janka

Inventory and capital intelligence platform for manufacturing operations. It began as a client build, proved repeatable, and is now a main AntaraX product.

AI-generated illustration. Unique newly generated illustrative scene: Wide realistic port warehouse interior in Malaysia: a forklift with a human driver moving a wrapped pallet behind a marked safety line, tall racks, open loading door revealing distant containers, a supervisor standing safely in the pedestrian walkway. Equipment is ordinary functional warehouse machinery, not a claimed autonomous deployment. Emphasise operational context, no hero portraits. Not actual REKA staff, a named client or deployment evidence.
Warehouse Intelligence

Operational intelligence for ports and warehouse environments.

AI-generated illustration. Unique newly generated illustrative scene: Wide dusk industrial-perimeter scene in Malaysia: a fictional adult security officer in a plain dark uniform making rounds on a footpath beside a fence, inspecting a small generic unbranded sensor enclosure on a post without opening it. Modest floodlights, ordinary building facade, no weapons, no police insignia. Subtle evening documentary photography, not a real named security deployment. Not actual REKA staff, a named client or deployment evidence.
MAGnicas (with MAGnet Security)

Intelligent security platform co-developed with a specialist security partner.

More detail is available under NDA; named client references are shared when approved.

Malaysia’s first self-driving car on open roads, on our own stack

In 2016 REKA built a retrofit kit for an ordinary car, run by RIG (REKA Innovation Gear), a controller board we designed ourselves, and drove it from Melaka to Kuala Lumpur on the PLUS Highway. The sensors and edge computing built for it went on to become PLExyz. In 2024 REKA became a member of the Autoware Foundation.

From problem to production.

We don’t start with technology. We start with the problem, then work backward to the simplest system that solves it reliably at your scale.

  1. Define the problem

We spend time with your people and your environment, not a brief document, to find the real constraint and what “solved” looks like in practice.

  2. Design the system

Architecture, data flows, component choices and integration points, designed for where it will run: edge, cloud, factory floor or field.

  3. Build in phases

Phase one puts a working core in your hands fast. Each later phase extends and hardens it, and ships something real before the next begins.

  4. Test in the field

We test in the conditions that matter and stay with it through commissioning until it runs reliably without us.

  5. Hand over or run it

You take a documented, production-grade system, or we keep running it through Managed AI, part of Intelligent Automation.

Full-stack, software to hardware.

One team for every layer, so the parts are designed to work together.

AI-generated illustration. Unique newly generated illustrative scene: Portrait close-to-medium shot of a fictional Malaysian adult hardware engineer seated at a realistic electronics bench, inspecting a tiny sensor board under a magnifying task lamp, tweezers held safely, oscilloscope and coiled leads behind, a plain 3D-printed enclosure beside the board. Keep the bench grounded in the reference equipment. Professional hands-on activity, no bedroom or bed, no readable displays. Not actual REKA staff, a named client or deployment evidence.
  1. Hardware & sensors

Sensors, edge devices and embedded systems, designed and built in-house when nothing on the market fits; robotic and autonomous machines tested in real environments, not simulation. See Sensing & Data and Robotics & Autonomy.

  2. Edge & data

The infrastructure your AI runs on: ingestion, storage, compute and delivery, on the edge or in the cloud, at the scale you need.

  3. Software & AI

Bespoke platforms, automation and integrations built around your workflow, and models trained on your data that stay accurate in production. See AI & Enterprise Systems.

  4. Operations

In production, documented and handed over, or run by us through Managed AI, as part of Intelligent Automation.

And R&D to product: taking a research idea or internal prototype and engineering it into something you can deploy, maintain and sell.

Engagement formats.

AI-generated illustration. Unique newly generated illustrative scene: Portrait composition in a generic Malaysian industrial workshop: two fictional adult engineers and one maintenance technician verify a neatly mounted generic low-voltage sensor enclosure on a stationary machine. Equipment safely isolated for commissioning; one compares its status to an unreadable clipboard, another holds a closed laptop. No claim about a named client, no unsafe contact with moving machinery. Not actual REKA staff, a named client or deployment evidence.

Every build starts with a scoping conversation. No commitment required at that stage.

Where it fits.

What happens once the system is running matters as much as the build. You can take it over yourself, we can keep running and improving it through Managed AI, with its workflows automated on AntaraX Ripple, or we can revisit the roadmap with what you now know.
